Plan and pack methodically. Proper packing is essential for a successful move. Here’s how to approach it. Acquire sturdy boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap, packing paper and other packing materials. You can often find free boxes at grocery stores or ask your moving company for supplies.
Before moving, make sure to inform important parties about your upcoming change of address and coordinate necessary services. Notify the post office of your new address so that your mail can be forwarded to your new location. Also, update your address with banks, credit card companies, utility providers and any other relevant institutions.
